Use this Kaiju Alpha unlock requirements guide to turn any locked roster entry into a complete, current checklist. The official Update 51 page does not publish a full table of prices or gates, so the live kaiju panel is the deciding source.
Capture the complete lock panel
Open the target kaiju and screenshot every requirement. Do not stop after the Cell cost. Scroll or expand the panel if the interface allows it. Record the exact form names, because franchise-era labels and evolution stages may count separately.
Leave a field blank if the game does not show it. A blank is safer than a number copied from a different version.
Expand prerequisite chains
Some unlocks can depend on another locked kaiju. Create one row for every prerequisite and repeat until you reach an entry you own or can directly buy. Work from the earliest incomplete gate forward.
For example, if a final form requires a leveled intermediate form, currency for the final step is not your first target. You need the intermediate access, its level route, and any defeat counter first. Preview-era Godzilla Ultima material shows why this matters: it presents a multi-stage chain, but the final Update 51 panel must confirm each step.
Verify what advances a counter
For a level gate, confirm that XP belongs to the required kaiju. For defeats, test whether you must land the final hit, whether assists count, what target type qualifies, and whether the counter updates immediately. For collectibles, test whether the object is account-persistent or server-local and whether spawns are shared.
Perform one clean action, then reopen the panel. If the counter changes, record the exact setup. If it does not, do not assume you need more of the same action; recheck the kaiju, target, and condition.
Cells
Use a measured farming route and preserve enough balance for earlier chain steps.
Levels
Keep the required kaiju selected and record XP before changing activities.
Defeats
Test credit rules with one controlled result rather than assuming assists count.
Collectibles
Use a landmark sweep and record server state before switching.
Compare public claims safely
When a guide or video publishes requirements, check its date, visible update, Place ID if available, and whether the footage shows an ordinary player panel. Keep the whole claim together. Do not take a Cell cost from one update, a level requirement from another, and a collectible count from a third.
Use labels such as “official,” “community reported,” “preview-era,” and “live verified.” A recent video is still not official, but it can be valuable visual evidence when the game UI is visible and the route is reproducible.
Plan the grind
Estimate each gate separately. Test your Cell or XP rate before multiplying it across a large target. Combine compatible work only when progress remains measurable: leveling the required kaiju during combat may advance both a level and defeat gate, while random island travel may make neither clear.
Reopen the lock panel after each milestone. Developers can change one gate without changing the rest, and a server rollout can make an older instance disagree with the public page.
Purchase safely
Before pressing the final button, record Cells and the complete requirement state. Click once and wait. Confirm ownership and the new balance before retrying during lag. If the purchase fails, capture the message and rejoin a current server only after your data has loaded.
Never use a third-party unlocker, executor, or “data transfer” page. It can expose your account and cannot replace the server’s ownership state.
Common requirement mistakes
- Reading only the currency line.
- Leveling the wrong form or a similarly named kaiju.
- Treating preview requirements as final release requirements.
- Assuming every player hit or assist advances a defeat gate.
- Following collectible coordinates after the map changed.
- Switching servers before recording whether progress persisted.
- Spending Cells on another entry before mapping the full chain.
Current high-interest checks
Godzilla Ultima is officially added in Update 51, but its final unlock gate is not published in the official description.
