The Kaiju section helps you answer three different questions without mixing them together: which kaiju are currently documented, how to compare choices for your own matchup, and what Godzilla Ultima’s officially described Update 51 mechanics actually do. A name appearing in community documentation does not automatically prove its current price, availability, rarity, or strength.

How to choose your next kaiju

Start with the live selection or unlock panel. Write down the kaiju’s displayed cost, prerequisites, level or kill gates, and any special item requirement. Then decide whether its play pattern matches what you enjoy. A powerful kit on paper is a poor purchase if its range, movement, meter management, or commitment windows feel wrong to you.

Use these five questions during a test:

1. Approach: Can the kaiju safely enter its effective range, or does it depend on the opponent making a mistake?
2. Pressure: Which skill starts a reliable sequence, and what happens when it misses?
3. Survival: Does the kit escape, reduce damage, heal, or create space?
4. Resource: Is there a meter or charge threshold that changes the correct order of skills?
5. Map fit: Does the body size and range work in dense city lanes, open shoreline, forest cover, or bridge approaches?

These questions remain useful when a patch changes damage numbers. They also explain why a single global tier letter cannot describe every duel or island.

Status-aware roster snapshot

The cards below are a navigation aid, not a promise that every entry is available to every account. Godzilla Ultima is officially confirmed for Update 51. Other names are repeatedly documented by community resources from earlier or recent builds and need a live roster check.

The full kaiju list includes more community-documented names and the fields to inspect. Unknown fields remain explicitly unknown rather than being filled with values from a different update.

Understanding Godzilla Ultima’s official mechanic

The official description connects several effects to an Attack bar above 100. This means meter state is part of the decision, not just a passive number.

• Attack 1 heals for damage dealt while the Attack bar is above 100.
• Attack 3 gains a larger hitbox while the Attack bar is above 100.
• Attack 5 reduces incoming damage by 10% while it is charging.
• A full Utility bar lets the ability change the weather into a mist storm.

The description does not publish full cooldowns, base damage, meter gain rules, exact hitbox dimensions, healing caps, or the complete Utility effect. Test one condition at a time against the same target type. The Ultima abilities guide gives a repeatable practice plan.

A better tier-list method

Use tier labels only after defining the situation. A kaiju may be excellent at controlling a narrow approach and weaker in a long chase. Another may dominate inexperienced opponents but have clear punish windows against players who know the animation.

What can change after an update

Damage, cooldowns, unlock costs, meter gain, spawn access, and even ability behavior may change independently. A video can remain mechanically useful while its numerical claims become stale. Check the publication date, identify the place shown, and compare the live skill description before copying a combo.

Newly released kaiju deserve an unranked period. Players need time to learn the kit and counterplay, and the developers may adjust obvious outliers. Godzilla Ultima’s arrival in Update 51 makes older complete tier lists incomplete by definition.

Practical verification checklist

• Confirm the official Place ID before treating a roster screen as current.
• Open the live kaiju panel and record displayed gates.
• Read every skill description before a practice session.
• Test against the same target and similar server conditions.
• Separate official description facts from player observations.
• Record update date with any shared tier or combo claim.
• Recheck after a server restart or visible hotfix.
